Is this weekend right for me?

Everyone agrees; surfing can be the best, but also the most frustrating sport.

If you are ready to leave the white water behind and consistently catch green waves; this weekend is for you.

Participants of the weekend should be content in their ability to stand up and paddle unaided on to white water waves or smaller unbroken waves.

What will I learn?

Core to our coaching weekends is making sure that everyone who surfs with us receives detailed coaching specific to their ability. Therefore, we only work with a small group of surfers at one time; a maximum of 5 people to 1 instructor.

Throughout the weekend surfers will be learning how to paddle out the back; from identifying where to enter the water, when to paddle, and what methods to use to get through the waves in different conditions.

Wave count is something we are very keen on at Fistral Beach Surf School, over the weekend expect to catch lots of waves and improve your board control; either with the aim of introducing new manoeuvres or improving turns you have already been able to introduce to your surfing.

In addition to in water coaching we will cover lots of different topics within surfing over the two days. Improve your understanding of surf specific training, the importance of identifying your strengths and weaknesses, goal setting and learning more about the right equipment.
